Important Dates for the Residence Hall 2024-2025

New First Year & Transfer Student Move-In: Wednesday, August 21, 2024**

Returning Student Move-In: Friday, August 23, 2024**

*Students will need to sign up for a move in time slot. Emails will be sent to the students baoqiuyue.net email on August 1^st.

Winter Break All Halls Close: Saturday, December 14, 2024 at noon.

**Jewett Hall - open for the Winter Break (spaces limited, once full, other off campus options will need to be sought by the student)**
Opening Friday December 13, 2024, at 12:00pm
Closing Monday January 6, 2025, at 12:00pm
There will be a $33.00 per day housing fee billed to the student account. There will be no campus dining service.
Residents will NOT have access to their school year room. They should take all needed items w/them before the break period begins.

J-Term Housing: Only students who are enrolled in an on-campus or partial on-campus J-Term courses, who have an academic year residence hall assignment in a J-Term Halls (Goodwin-Kirk, or Herriott) may return beginning Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 3:00pm. There are additional room and board charges for J-Term. (no earlier arrivals will be permitted)

**Non-J-term Resident Housing: Jewett Hall January 6, 2025, to January 25, 2025**
(Spaces limited, once full, other off campus options will need to be sought by the student)
There will be a $33.00 per day housing fee billed to the student account.
There will be no meal plan offered for this period, but students can self-pay for each meal at Hubbell.
Residents will NOT have access to their school year room. They should take all needed items w/them before the break period begins.

Non-J-term Residents and All Halls Open for Spring Semester: January 25, 2025, at noon. (no earlier arrivals will be permitted)

Spring Break All Residence Halls Closing (Carpenter, Crawford, Goodwin-Kirk, Herriott, Stalnaker): Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Noon.

Spring Break All Residence Hall Opening (Carpenter, Crawford, Goodwin-Kirk, Herriott, Stalnaker): Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 10:00am

Spring Semester Closing (Carpenter, Crawford, Stalnaker): Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Noon.

Spring Semester Closing (Goodwin Kirk, Herriott): Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 5:00 pm.

Interim Hall Opens: Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Noon.

Meal Plan Changes: Students will receive an email to their baoqiuyue.net email with the directions on when and how to make changes to their meal plan. Students can change their meal plan selection online, the month that classes will begin, (Fall/August, Spring/January) through the first Thursday of classes for each term within the academic year. After this date has passed the meal plan cannot be changed. **
